the Mummy Mapping
[ENG]Organic video mapping on an authentic model of Baron Trenck’s mummy, created for the Brno City Museum at Špilberk Castle. The visual component is based on computed tomography (CT) scans, which digitally revealed the internal structures of the remains. This data is animated and precisely mapped onto a milled copy of the body, creating a unique digital layer for the exhibition.
[SK] Organický videomapping na autentický model múmie baróna Trencka, vytvorený pre Múzeum mesta Brna na hrade Špilberk. Vizuálna zložka vychádza z počítačovej tomografie, ktorá digitálne odhalila vnútorné štruktúry pozostatkov. Tieto dáta sú animované a presne namapované na frézovanú kópiu tela, čím vytvárajú unikátnu digitálnu vrstvu expozície.
Museum of the Slovak National Uprising
[ENG] The SNP Memorial in Banská Bystrica serves as a monumental canvas that visually interprets pivotal moments in history through a series of video mappings. Over the years, this specific architecture has become the medium for several of my animations, dynamically processing themes ranging from the Uprising itself and the tragedy of the Holocaust to the technical history of aviation. The building thus ceases to be a static object and transforms into a living visual archive, bringing historical events back into the public space in a modern, emotive form.
[SK] Pamätník SNP v Banskej Bystrici predstavuje monumentálne plátno, ktoré prostredníctvom série videomappingov vizuálne tlmočí zlomové momenty dejín. Táto špecifická architektúra sa v priebehu rokov stala nosičom pre niektoré moje animácie, ktoré dynamicky spracovali témy od samotného priebehu Povstania a tragédie holokaustu až po technickú históriu letectva. Budova tak prestáva byť statickým objektom a mení sa na živé vizuálne archívum, kde sa historické udalosti vracajú do verejného priestoru v modernej, emotívnej podobe.
