[ENG] The documentary captures an original project in which the author projects images of Slovak forests onto the barren landscapes of Iceland. This creates a striking contrast between Slovakia, where forests are disappearing faster than we can protect them, and Iceland, struggling to revive woodlands long destroyed. Blending artistic action, personal testimony, expeditionary footage, and expert commentary, the film delivers a poetic yet urgent message about respect for nature and the looming risk that the way back may no longer exist.
[SK] Dokumentárny film zachytáva originálny projekt, pri ktorom autor premieta obrazy slovenských lesov na pusté islandské. Vzniká tak sugestívny kontrast medzi Slovenskom, kde sa lesy strácajú rýchlejšie, než ich dokážeme chrániť, a Islandom, ktorý sa krvopotne snaží obnoviť dávno zničené porasty. Film spája výtvarnú akciu, osobnú výpoveď, silnú expedičnú rovinu i odborné komentáre, aby ponúkol poetické, no naliehavé posolstvo o úcte k prírode a o riziku, že cesta späť už nemusí existovať.

[ENG] This documentary project created for the Ekopolis Foundation blends cinematic art with a powerful ecological message. The direction and cinematography focus on authentically capturing sustainable changes in the landscape. The film is enhanced by a series of descriptive animations that visualize technical topics, transforming the 8-minute piece into an engaging and educational audiovisual experience.
[SK] Tento dokumentárny projekt vytvorený pre Nadáciu Ekopolis spája filmové umenie s ekologickým posolstvom. Réžia a kamera sa sústredia na autentické zachytenie udržateľných zmien v krajine. Film je doplnený o sériu popisných animácií, ktoré vizualizujú odborné témy, čím z 8-minútovej snímky vytvárajú pútavý a vzdelávací audiovizuálny zážitok.

[ENG] I document the hidden life of the wilderness in places where the human eye rarely ventures. Wildlife filmmaking is about more than just pressing the shutter; it is about endless hours of patience, blending into the landscape, and a deep respect for nature and those fleeting moments that will never be repeated. My work is a celebration of the strength, fragility, and perfection of the animal kingdom, captured with the dedication and stillness that true wildlife cinematography demands.
[SK] Dokumentujem skrytý život divočiny tam, kam sa ľudské oko bežne nedostane. Wildlife tvorba nie je len o stlačení spúšte. Je to o nekonečných hodinách trpezlivosti, splynutí s krajinou a rešpekte k prírode a momentom, ktoré sa už nikdy nebudú opakovať. Moja tvorba je oslavou sily, krehkosti a dokonalosti sveta zvierat, zachytená s trpezlivosťou, ktorú si wildlife filmárčina vyžaduje.
