The Festival of Light and Shadow in the Heart of Slovakia in Banská Bystrica had its premiere this year in connection with the UN's declaration of 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies. The goal of this festival is to inspire, educate, and entertain the general public. It connects not only "light enthusiasts" from the public but also the artistic, scientific, and professional communities through light and art. In addition to the light show, the festival promotes and opens up critical thinking. The festival presents an original concept of themes aimed at reflecting the present day. It showcases mainly young contemporary visual and multimedia art in public spaces.
My participation in this festival resulted in the creation of an animation telling the story of the historical development of aviation, presented as a mapping projection on the building of the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising (Múzeum SNP).
The photos document the installation of my work and a snapshot of the festival, featuring other artworks that accompanied the event in 2015.

Festival svetla a tieňa v srdci Slovenska v Banskej Bystrici mal v tomto roku svoju premiéru pri príležitosti vyhlásenia OSN, rok 2015 za Medzinárodný rok svetla a technológií založených na svetle. Tento festival má za úlohu inšpirovať, vzdelávať a zabávať širokú verejnosť. Prepojiť svetlom a umením nielen „svetelných fanúšikov“ z radov verejnosti, ale aj umeleckú, vedeckú a odbornú verejnosť. Okrem svetelnej šou festival prináša a otvára kritické myslenie. Festival predstavuje autorskú koncepciu tém, ktorej cieľom je reflektovať súčasnosť. Festival prezentuje najmä mladé súčasné vizuálne a multimediálne umenie vo verejnom priestore.
Moja účasť na tomto festivale dala vzniknúť animácií s príbehom historického prierezu letectva v podobe mappingu na budovu Múzea SNP.
Fotky zaznamenávajú inštalovanie mojej práce a prierez týmto festivalom s ostatnými dielami ktoré ho sprevádzali počas tejto udalosti v roku 2015.
