[ENG] The subject of death on pictures depicts the animal’s skulls and the atmosphere of photography. In this series, the entire process from capture to the developing of photos through the chemical process to the stretched linen screen is important, as the whole collection. This was the way photography passed through various processes and structures. The basis is the light symbolizing life that falls on the fragments of death.
Thanks to this, high contrast photos are arising on a 6×6 cm negative film, which are balancing between life and death. So as well as living organisms, so also here a couple of selected photographs has undergone through the entire process until the „canvas“. These final photos developped into the lights installation.
Light installation which emerged from the photographic set Death is in conjunction with my two favourite technologies within my art production. The photo induced by classical chemical process gets a new dimension and comes to life under the light of the dataprojector. A series of photos with the theme of death is thematically underlined by the content of the projection which operates chaotically, melancholically and adds a sense of insecurity. This is how I imagine the death and I am trying to represent it in this work.

[SK] Tému smrti na snímkach znázorňujú zvieracie lebky a aj samotná atmosféra z fotografií. V tejto sérií je dôležitý celý proces od nasnímania až po vyvolanie fotografií chemickým procesom na napnuté ľanové plátno čo, zaznamenáva celá táto kolekcia. Takto prechádzala fotografia rôznymi procesmi a štruktúrami. Základom je svetlo symbolizujúce život ktoré dopadá na fragmenty smrti. Vďaka tomu vznikajú vysoko kontrastné fotografie na 6×6 cm negatívny film ktoré balansujú medzi životom a smrťou. Tak ako aj živé organizmy, tak aj tu pár vybraných fotografií prešlo celým procesom až na „plátno“. Tieto finálne fotografie dozreli až do svetelnej inštalácie.
Svetelná inštalácia ktorá vzišla z fotografickej série DEATH je v spojení pre mňa dvoch obľúbených technológií v rámci mojej umeleckej tvorby. Fotografia vyvolaná klasickým chemickým procesom dostáva nový rozmer a ožíva pod svetlom dataprojektoru. Séria fotografií s témou smrti je tematicky podčiarknutá aj obsahom projekcie ktorá pôsobí chaoticky, melancholicky a dodáva pocit neistoty. Takto si ja predstavujem smrť a snažím sa ju znázorniť v tomto diele.
